Lily Lou- 9 Months

I met Brook, Zach and Lily at Goose Island on Saturday afternoon.  It was chilly (I went out and bought sweatpants because I was an idiot and wore shorts) and had started to rain. I even asked if we should reschedule.  But Brook, in her true optimistic fashion, said we should stick it out.  It's a good thing we did because we we all arrived, the clouds parted and sunshine came through. It was a wonderful afternoon with some great people. Lily is a lucky gal, to have such spirited and superb parents such as this.

 At this point, Lily has lost interest in me, but can't seem to get enough of the nature that surrounds her.

Baby Jonathan- 10 days old

Jonathan was born on March 29th, 2013. At only 10 days old, he is alert, bright eyed and loves to explore his surroundings. How many 10 day old infants do you know that are trying to hold up their own heads? Even though it is now April, it was a dreary day. However, Jonathan and his parents, Heidi and Travis, lit up and exploded with the love of having a newborn baby.  They are truly blessed to welcome Jonathan into the world and I am truly blessed to have been able to capture this lovely evening with the three of them.

 

   

 

 

 

 

  

   

Jonathan does not like being naked, as can be seen by the look on his face!

It's been a long photo shoot for the little guy. I think he might be tired!

I do not think I have ever seen anyone look at someone the way Heidi looks at Jonathan.  It was such a special moment between them.

 

  

After nursing, Jonathan is content and calm.

Finally, it is really time to say goodnight.
