Heidi & Travis Maternity Session 2.22.13

Heidi and I had been talking for a few weeks about when we could schedule a time to take her maternity photos. We finally settled on a date (just in time too, because she could have this baby at any moment!) and then the weather advisory came...we were due to get a big snow storm. Uh oh, was this even gonna happen?  Fortunately, this crazy storm was fairly mild and left our small town lightly covered in fresh snow. The temperature was in the 20's and it was perfect.

Travis and Heidi were fantastic to photograph. They were more than happy to put up with my ideas (some that succeeded and some that failed). Travis even ended up being the perfect assistant, moving snow aside, plowing paths for us and coming up with ideas of his own.  In  the end, I could not have asked for a better couple to photograph. I can't wait for a few more weeks when we will be welcoming Baby Lapham into the world!

 

Baby Lapham may or may not come out with "heart hands". We'll see!
